About Me
At the age of fourteen I developed several computer games for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, which I sold to a national marketing company. Whilst studying Russian at the University of Leeds I acquired a PC and soon began writing software for Microsoft Windows. In my final year I took four elective modules in Computer Science, for which I received outstanding grades.
Since graduating I have worked as a professional software developer and as an IT specialist at the University of Manchester Language Centre. The latter position involved hardware repairs, software installation & maintenance, database & web design, telephone support and staff training.
I have also written bespoke software for the University of Leeds, and a program for language learners which is very popular on the Internet.
